The formula for Why God Why and Refraction are veeeery similar to one another, with WGW having a slightly more opaque white base. The shimmers in WGW lean blue and purple whereas Refraction has more green in it. You can see VNL through both formulas. I would recommend Why God Why as a substitute if you missed out on Refraction!

Pearl Clutcher and Winter Halo are dupes, no doubt about it. Both apply the same with a somewhat streaky pearlescent finish… but that’s just how pearlescents are! Opaque in two coats and beautiful in all lighting so you can’t go wrong with whatever polish you choose.

Thank you for the user who recommended Winter Halo as a possible dupe for Pearl Clutcher previously ❤️

🙏 I greatly appreciate comparison photos and video! It really helps me see the subtle differences so that I can make a better purchasing decision.

  2. I have the Fail Polish, Mooncat, and Haunted polish versions of the pearly white! They’re all gorgeous, IMO Fail’s is a bit more shifty and translucent whereas Haunted’s is a traditional pearly white with no shift.

Mooncat’s has a tiny bit of shift but is way more sparkly than the other two and has a depth to it that I still haven’t found a good dupe for! The almost silvery sparkle combined with the white pearl effect makes it pop more than the other two.
